Mr. Short is one of the founding partners of Mills, Short & Associates and manages all aspects relating to structural engineering, construction management and permitting. Mr. Short specializes in many different areas of structural engineering including but not limited to concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, pre-fabricated buildings, etc.
Mr. Short has experiences in working with customers on all levels of commercial and residential projects. He has worked with several local, regional, and national Registered Architects. His project portfolio ranges from small residential modifications/additions to brand new and modified large scale commercial structures.

Mr. Short’s technical specialties include full structural analysis and design of buildings, specialty structures, docks/sea walls, modifications of existing structures and construction consulting.
